Description: This is an 8-inch diameter, hand turned falcon block in the Arabian style, for large falcons and Gyrkins. The block is made from: For the stem Purple heart (Peltogyne Spp.). And Osage Orange (Maclura Pomifera) for the top. It has a stainless-steel spike permanently affixed into the stem. The tie is a four strand round braid to a stainless- ring and then back braided into itself and finished with a Turks knot. The entire block is finished with 2 coats of food grade epoxy. This is to seal the wood against water, snow and the elements for years of beautiful service. It is topped with long leaf astro-turf. There are no dyes or stains used, this is the natural color of the wood.
