These mounts are designed to keep your bell off the ground, preventing snow and dirt from entering the bell and muffling the sound. The transmitter will maintain a vertical orientation when the bird is sitting allowing you to get the best possible signal when searching for a lost bird. The bell (not included) is attached to the mount with a high grade, steel jawed zip tie (included). Mounts are 3D printed from a rugged plastic polymer that is UV resistant. We do NOT recommend the use of zip ties to mount the base to the deck feathers at this time. Unlike leather strips, they will eventually slide down the feather shafts.
