Description: Fantastic vintage 50s Harris Tweed "swing style" wool overcoat, top coat. The USA Amalgamated Union tag inside an inner pocket with red lettering dates it to 1949 to 1962. In addition to the Harris Tweed tag inside there is a Robert Hall tag (see pics) In excellent condition, no flaws. The material is top quality wool tweed. 3 gray buttons up the front with a forth flat -style button at the top collar.(We took pics of the coat with the top button fastened and not fastened.) 2 lower front outside side pockets that are plush lined. The colors are gray, black and white. We're not sure what to call this diagonal hatch pattern with subtle windowpane.(See pics). Partially lined inside and also lined down the length of the sleeves (see pics). Single vent bottom back (see pic). We took lots of pics so you can see for yourself. There is no tag size. We're callibng it a generous size Large. Note "50s swing style" means the waist is wider than the chest.
