Description: PROMOTIONAL DISC JOCKEY YELLOW LABEL The KEY selling point on this Every Mother's Son album is the M-G-M SPECIAL DISC JOCKEY RECORD - NOT FOR SALE YELLOW LABEL. Fairly scarce promo DJ album. While this group from New York did have several songs that made the charts over a two year period, this could easily be one of those groups labeled as a “one-hit wonder”. The group was formed in 1967 and made it to the top of the charts with their hit single “Come On Down To My Boat”. The group released a second album just a few months after this, their debut, before disbanding. The album was released on MGM in 1967, number E-4471. This is the original mono release of the album. The vinyl is in fine condition with its bright original luster and some light scuffs that minimally impact play. The gatefold album cover is nice - the original owner signed his name just above the group photo (you can see it in the gatefold sleeve photo). All seams are clean, sharp, tight, and intact. There is some age discoloration.
