Description: This is a clone kit of the Estes classic Odyssey Model Rocket Kit. The Odyssey was a Science-Fiction design that Estes manufactured from 1977 until 1982. It was a very cool design because it didn't look like a typical rocket, but flew great. It was the first Estes kit to use the "modular" sci-fi nosecone that made it really look like a spaceship. The completed rocket stands 2 feet high and is about 1 and 3/8" in diameter. This clone kit comes with pre-cut body tubes, laser-cut balsa fins and plywood centering rings, the classic sci-fi nosecone, and the various bits needed to build it. It also comes with a link to the original kit instructions that include the tube marking guide and shock cord mount. This kit does not include a parachute.
