Description: This is an 7.5 x 9.5 black and white photo signed by the legendary Ernest Tubb - The Texas Troubadour. The autograph is dedicated to Grace Purdy, my wife's grandmother. Grace worked for a publication called the Western Music Corral and left us with a treasure trove of photos and clippings from her time at the Western Music Corral magazine. The photo is on photo paper and so there is slight yellowing as shown in the picture but no rips, tears or holes. This vintage black and white photograph of Ernest Tubb is a must-have for any fan of classic western movies, western swing music and entertainment memorabilia. Ernest Tubb, nicknamedthe Texas Troubadour, was an American singer and songwriter and one of thepioneers of country music. His biggest career hit song, "Walking the FloorOver You" (1941), marked the rise of the honky tonk style of music. Tubb is a member of theCountry Music Hall of Fame. This is an autographed photo you need to add to your collection. As an added bonus I will include a copy of Tophand Magazine featuring Ernest Tubb and two signed 8x10 publicity photos of Ernest Tubb that were also in the collection. The signatures on these bonus photos look to me like they were printed on the photo and so unlike the signed photo dedicated to Grace I can't say they are authentic but I am no expert.
