Description: This magnificent example of Ernest Trova's work was purchased from the renowned van Straaten Gallery in Chicago. It measures 26x26 inches on thick art paper and has been professionally mounted on acid free board. One border has faded lettering in yellow reading, "RECENT SCULPTURE BY ERNEST TROVA HAYDEN GALLERY MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY FEBRUARY 20 THROUGH MARCH 19". After that it is too faded to make out. He was exhibited there in 1967. On the back of the frame were three papers, the original tag from van Straaten Gallery in Chicago, an early undated of artist information from same, and a photocopy from TIME magazine dated January 6, 1967. This is remarkably well preserved and ready to be reframed. This is the nicest copy I have ever seen. Shipped flat between multiple layers of thick cardboard with acid free board covering the art first. Calculated Shipping in the USA or pickup from That 70s Shoppe in Memphis TN
