Vintage Description The solid electric Wilshire represents Epiphone in the 1960s when it was manufactured at the Gibson Kalamazoo factory.This is an individual made in 1964, when the specifications were changed to a 6-line peg head.It adopts a double cutaway shape that protrudes to the last fret of the neck like the Gibson SG, and the lightweight and rounded body edges give a strong sense of the competing brands at the time.It was also the first model to introduce the slim neck shape with a narrow nut width, which was gradually changed from the mid-'60s.With a nut width of approximately 39mm and a well-rounded grip, once you get used to it, it has a charm that makes you want to play just this guitar.Mounts the mini humbucker pickup used in many Epiphone electrics.The original pickup, called a numbered PAF with a patent number label attached, features a more delicate and beautiful high range than a single coil, as well as low noise and clear tone.Replaced with Gibson type truss rod cover, tremolo arm is missing.When it arrived at our store, we replaced the nut and fret.
