Description: Recovered from AquaCal TropiCal T90 Pool Heat Pump. The heat pump was purchased directly from a local AquaCal dealer in May 2022. Saw one season of use in 2023. The heat pump suffered a refrigerant failure this Spring; AquaCal confirmed a small number of units were produced with undersized copper, causing the refrigerant lines to cleanly separate from the crimp connections on the heat exchanger. The unit was immediately powered down, so I don’t expect any damage to this compressor component, but I also don’t have any HVAC expertise to evaluate. Worked perfectly up until the day of refrigerant failure. Otherwise looks practically new. Including the rubber pads and mounting hardware should you be repairing your own AquaCal. Please contact me if your shipping estimate looks unusually expensive, I can check other brokers. Can also personally deliver to most places in Northeast (located in Rhode Island, willing to venture as far as southern Maine and NJ/NY).
