A very good condition Eloxal all aluminum ring with a natural double terminated quartz point that has faux fire added under the stone. Eloxal stands for electrolytic oxidation of aluminum. It's basically an anodisation process that gives the surface of the aluminum a tough corrosion resistant protective layer. The natural double terminated quartz point measures 9.9mm long and approximately 5.5mm in diameter. Tested as quartz with Presidium Gem Tester II. The 'fire' that is visible emitting from the stone is from an anodized reddish orange aluminum disc with concentric circles under the stone. It has a nice effect glowing through the different facets of the point crystal. The band measures 1.9mm wide at the rear. The ring is super light weighing only 1 gram. It is clearly signed Germany and may have a faded W before it. It's a very good condition vintage Eloxal aluminum ring with a double terminated quartz point with fire and it only shows very minor signs of age appropriate wear.
