Description: Here I have for sale a beautiful boxed set first, thus edition of The Poems and Prose of Elizabeth Bishop, published by Farrar, Straus Giroux in celebration of the centenary of her birth. The set includes two hardcover volumes in dust jackets: Poems (all of her poems including many unpublished in draft form); Prose collecting all her published prose. Beautifully illustrated throughout with manuscript photographs. The set is Near Fine, the box almost perfect but for a couple of smudges. The volumes are Near Fine, the books like new while the dust jackets might have the tiniest bit of crimp along top edge. A wonderful collectible of a great!
