Description: Really nice Elgin pocket watch for being almost 150 years old. Case does show wear. It is not running and I don’t have the key. I took it to a collector and he tried to wind it but it won’t stay wound. Takes a #4 key I believe. Size is an 18 and I believe the serial number dates it to 1883. I think it’s a model 1, grade 12, class 5. I’m no expert on these so I could be wrong. Sold as is. Please see pictures for condition and let me know if you have any questions.
