The modern interpretation of the jazz bass model "JB-Modern" has arrived! It has standard JB specs with an alder body, but the pickup is equipped with an original Type-J. It is sampled from the powerful pickups of the 1960s stack pot era, and if it is turned up to full ten, it outputs a punchy attack and a solid core sound despite being passive. The VOL/Tone control range is also wide, and if you turn it down, you can get a sound with the delicate nuances that are characteristic of the original jazz bass. The neck is made by hand, taking nearly four times longer than a normal one, and is characterized by its comfortable grip that fits deeply in the hand. This is a Crews' pride and joy, and we would like bassists who are confident in their skills to pick it up. There are scratches, dents, and signs of use all over the product. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room to adjust both the forward and backward bows. The neck bow has been adjusted with the rod, and is now almost straight. There is a slight amount of wear on the frets, but there is still enough left that it does not interfere with playing.
