Description: EGGSHELL EIRAKU JAPANESE PORCELAIN RED CORAL TURQUOISE SILVER DRAGON SAUCER. This saucer measures 6" in diameter and 3/4" tall. It features a 3-claw dragon with the entire length of its body curving in a complete circle from claw to tail. The dragon is painted in a metallic silver paint that illuminates in a myriad of colors when held up to a light source. The center portion of the saucer is painted in coral red versus the outer band portion of it is painted in turquoise green. Encircling the dragon in the turquoise band are hanging ornaments painted in metallic dark gray (not sure these objects were originally a silver color). On the bottom of the saucer is a 2 character makers mark painted in red. This delicate porcelain saucer is in remarkably excellent condition with some paint loss where it is handled.
