Illustrated by Darley, McCutcheon, Fredericks, Perkins, King, Riordan, and Northam. Beautiful condition, gilt lettering on spine and cover is excellent. Decorative boards are in beautiful shape, brown, gold, and silver coloring. Hinges are fully intact, binding is fair with some areas starting to split slightly. If you look closely at the photos, you can see that the binding is more exposed in certain areas of the book and I would advise that care be taken when handling this book because the binding is dry, as is the string in the binding. The book has gilt edges all around. There is a single pencil marking, which looks to be a marking of nine cents. Unpaginated. Blue cloth book marker is in beautiful condition. No foxing, and little to no age spotting. Pages are very clean. There are some copies of this book floating around, and I believe this one is in better condition than many.
