Ozelot can serve as a focal point in your aquarium, providing variety and catching the eye even in a heavily planted aquarium. The Ozelot Sword is a hybrid between Echinodorus schlueteri 'Leopard' and Echinodorus barthii, which is what gave it the marbled spots on the elongated green leaves. If the conditions are sub optimal, the plant grows more slowly and a bit smaller but will not lose its spotted coloration. This species is amphibious and will grow either submersed or partially submersed.
