Description: Antique Late 19th Century Eastlake Victorian Yale & Towne Mortise Lock Box With Porcelain Door KnobsThis antique Victorian mortise lock box includes two doorknobs, two rounded back plates/rosettes, two keyhole plates, and an attached faceplate. The doorknobs are made out of a white porcelain. The rosettes, face plate, and keyhole plates are made out of brass and are engraved with Eastlake stylized flowers and vines. The attached face plate is made out of brass as well. Both the lock box and the face plate are Yale & Towne. All parts appear to be in working order.Color/Finish: Brass and blackDimensions: Lock box: 3.75" H x 3.125" W x 0.625" D in Face plate: 5.5" H x 0.875" W x 0.125" D in Doorknob diameter: 2.5" in Keyhole plate: 2.75" H x 1" W x 0.0625" D in Condition: The lock box has mild wear and tarnish. The doorknobs have some wear and aging. The doorknob spindle has some mild rusting. The rosettes, the attached face plate, and the keyhole plates are all in great condition given their age.
