Description: This scarce early 19th century blue willow transfer printed radish dish with attached butter tub is a wonderful addition to any antique willow ware collection or English ceramic collection. It measures 12-1/2" long x 5" wide x 3" high, overall. It is in beautiful estate condition with NO cracks, NO repairs and NO restorations. It has a very subtle production flake on the interior which was printed over and glazed over during the period production and there is one interior old chip, as seen in the close-up photos. The serving dish, in a pearlware glaze, is an original piece from the Georgian period. The form is noted and illustrated in period catalogs for serving radishes with the attached butter tub. This piece lacks the cover for the butter tub. This item is from the United Kingdom and is sure to be a conversation starter in any home.
