Description: An Antique Early American Pressed Glass (EAPG) Cake Stand by Hobbs Brockunier & Co. No. 0077 (OMN) aka Conventional Band (Kamm) as shown on EAPGS.net. This cake stand was produced in the 1880s and remains in fabulous condition for its age with no chips, cracks or breaks and minimal surface wear. Hobbs Brockunier operated in Wheeling, West Virginia from 1845 to 1888. This lovely cake stand has a scalloped edge around the bottom of the raised round 9-1/4 inch diameter plate and stands on an elegant base with subtle detailing around the base. There is one small bubble in the glass plate as shown in the pictures.
