The Story: Geri Riordan, brilliantly played by Lea Salonga, is adopted, half-Vietnamese, eighteen, and a piano prodigy. She feels as if she doesn't know who she really is. When her adoptive father dies, she begins a search for her biological father. The trail leads into the redwood forest the Riordans have owned for generations, and home to the 'forest men' - homeless 'Nam vets who live there. But the man who may know the answer won't talk to her. Can Geri convince him to give her the answers she's looking for? Comments: The first half of this made-for-TV film may seem a little slow, but that's only because you don't know the secret. The last fifteen minutes are powerful and well worth the wait. Like many drama thrillers, things are not as they seem. A Vietnamese-American child of the war is adopted by an American couple. Although she has a very good life, she becomes restless wondering about her roots. Surprises await her, as well as the viewer. Per the label, the film has 95 minute running time. The film is presented in 16:9 format; English audio only with no subtitles. This movie-on-demand MOD archive title on recorded media is new and factory sealed. The DVD disc is Region 1, NTSC format, specifically designed to play on DVD players in North America. It will probably not play on a PlayStation or similar game device.
