Description: Doulton Lambeth ceramic match holder with Hallmarked sterling silver rim that dates to 1892, the Rd # also dates to 1892. The ceramic is in great condition with no chips or cracks and is modeled after a gutta percha golf ball, the sterling silver rim has a couple of very minor dings. The flat bottom is stamped Doulton Lambeth England. This is approx. 1 5/8" high. A wonderful true antique that is 132 years old. Not easy to find in this condition.
