This chair is very well made. The upholstery is top notch, the assembly is perfect and the quality is outstanding. My issue is the comfort. First the chair is not adjustable in height and is too high for my purposes which is to use as a computer chair. When sitting I have to lean forward to reach the desk (I'm 5 ft 5 inches) Also the arms are low and not at all comfortable to use. The actual seat cushion is extremely firm and not at all giving like a memory foam seat. It may be fine for a short period of time but its very uncomfortable to use as a desk chair if you're planning to sit for any length of time. Also before I purchased it I questioned if the casters would work on carpeted flooring and was told by a reviewer they had no issue. Well here again that is a issue because I find it a bit difficult to move around. If that were the only problem it would be a minor one. I wasn't going to even write a review but I kept reading the outstanding reviews for this chair and kept wondering if I'm the only person who finds the chair uncomfortable. Again I want to reiterate what a quality (made in the USA) chair it is. However for me its not workable. Unfortunately even though I got the chair with free shipping, I have to pay to return it unless its damaged. The cost for that isn't practical so I'll find someone locally to buy it or donate it.
