It is a high-quality replacement part for OEM DDE A0001421089. With this kit you can ensure the efficient filtration of contaminants from the DEF tank, enhancing the engine performance. High-Grade Filtration: Our DEF tank filter is specifically crafted to remove all the particles and contaminants from getting mixed into the DEF tank to protect your truck’s exhaust system and maintain the engine’s refinement. Complete Solution: This DEF filter kit DDE A0001421089 comes with all the necessary components such as a filter itself, a filter cap, a sealing cap, and a greasing solution spray bottle, providing you with a complete DEF system maintenance solution. Compatibility: Mytee Products’ DEF tank cap is compatible with various Freightliner and Peterbilt truck models providing you with a versatile application, making it an ideal choice for enhancement of your DEF or engine components. DEF Filter Installation Steps First you have to locate the DEF filter situated near the DEF tank after which you have to hold and loosen the cap with a wrench. Now disconnect the outlet hose carefully that is attached to the DEF filter, while doing this expect some residual DEF fluid to be drained so you have to use a container to prevent the floor from spillage. Remove the old DEF filter for which you can use a rough cloth to make a grip and gently pull the filter out. Now you can install the Mytee Products’s new DEF filter in the mounting bracket and make sure that it is properly aligned, then gently press it to insert it in the hose. Now you can reconnect the rubber inlet hose back to secure the filter and finally tighten the cap. Make sure that the cap is properly tightened and as it is a plastic unit don’t put extra pressure on it. Finally you can start the engine and check for any sort of leaks and if detected just tighten the connection or replace the clamps. 18 MONTHS WARRANTY: This product is covered for one year or completion of 100,000 miles since installation or 18 months after you buy it from Mytee Products, whichever comes first. We provide a warranty to all new products only if the parts have defective material or workmanship (must be used in appropriate applications). The warranty doesn’t cover the parts that fail or get damaged due to misuse, misapplication, or accident. Unless specified otherwise, buyers/consumers need permission from your salesperson to initiate a return under warranty. We will replace any part free of charge only if our team finds a defect after a thorough examination. The warranty only covers only the replacement of defective parts (under the mentioned conditions), we disclaim liability for labor and/or special or consequential damages of any nature.
