Description: “Devil Of The Deep” (1938), 16mm Film, Silent Cartoon, Fish Tale, MISSING TITLE Classic cartoon of a deep sea explorer regaling an audience with his fish tale while the fish on stage gathers more and more flies. FILM CONDITION: Film appears to be in acceptable condition, ran smoothly on a manual thread Revere projector and has no detectable vinegar syndrome. There is one splice that did not impact the run. There are a couple seconds of discoloration at the start which clears up. Some streaking and speckling as shown in the photos and video. MISSING TITLE: film opens at the beginning of the cartoon where the ice truck is driving down the street with a police escort which is where the original cartoon opens. Missing the title frames and original leader. Leader added on both ends. Box is in poor condition. 7” reel Please see photos to verify item condition. Sold as is. Thank you for looking!
