Description: This is a depression era (circa 1940's) berry or dessert bowl produced by W.S. George. Titled Lido Canarytone, the pattern features pink cherry blossom flowers with gray leaves on an ivory/cream base. The pattern was discontinued decades ago and is very difficult to find now. The dish has a scalloped edge and a hand painted brilliant platinum trim. Measuring 5.75", the porcelain bowl is in remarkable condition with no cracks, chips, crazing, or any wear or discoloration to the platinum trim. There are some platinum smudges on the bowl's underside from being hand painted. Compare to others listed at $19.95 each.
