If the end of your 2 x 2 channel has a plastic end plug in it, simply remove and discard. The drawer will then slide into your fence rail. Great way to store pencil, push sticks, router bits and whatever you can fit into your drawer. The drawer itself measures 1 1/2 inches wide and 1 1/4 deep x 18 inches long.
