Trial by Blood, script by John Ostrander, pencils by Luke McDonnell, inks by Karl Kesel; Amanda Waller organizes a mission to take down the Jihad before they can attack the U.S. Canadian Price Variants with a higher-than-expected cover price, like this example copy, are 1st print US-published originals that the publisher produced simultaneously with the regularly priced copies, and then shipped them North for distribution on Canadian newsstands. All aspects of the variants are 100% identical to regular newsstand copies, except for the higher cover price. The Canadian newsstand market serviced a population less than one tenth that of the USA. This dramatic market size difference, coupled with newsstand exclusivity for the price variants, make them dramatically rarer than their US newsstand counterparts as well as the direct edition type sold in comic shops.
