Description: Hi, everyone! Up for sale is this used, excellent condition Dazor J200HHM 2.5X Handheld Illuminated Magnifier 12 Bright White LEDs. This has been a fantastic magnifier for just about every purpose, from use in first aid (pulling splinters), to soldering, to assembling my computer with a tiny mini-ITX motherboard and the smallest silkscreened port labels I've ever seen. The Dazor made me realize and appreciate that lighting matters as much or more than the magnifying lens, especially in terms of brightness and uniformity and color accuracy. I'm switching to a different magnification as my vision changes with age. This unit is in perfect condition except for the little nylon strap that got caught on the velcro in the case and is a bit frayed.The lens is clear and scratch-free. Runs on 4x AAA batteries. One great thing is that the batteries last quite a long time in this magnifier and the brightness dims gradually over a long time. If you have a voltmeter, what usually happens is that one of the four batteries runs down harder than the other three; replace just that one and it's back up to full power. Ships 1lb.
