Prain”, June 7, 1905, London, 1 pg., 4.5 x 7, by the Scottish botanist who worked in India at the Calcutta Botanical Garden, went on to become the Director of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and was also the author of several botanical reference books, including Diseases of Cultivated Trees and Plants and Bengal Plants. The letter is to English botanist and taxonomist, Maxwell Tylden Masters (1833-1907), author of Vegetable Teratology and editor of the Gardeners’ Chronicle.
