Description: Late 19th century Davenport desk aka Captains Desk. Solid mahogany, 8 larger side drawers, along with 8 inside drawers (beneath desktop lid) and a rear flip top storage compartment. Overall, in very good condition. Please note in pictures the small, rear flip top lid has a corner where it has been lightly damaged. Drawer pulls appear to be the originals to the unit, dovetail and drawer bottom work impeccable. Ball feet round the piece out. Thank you for looking.
