Description: Dansk Flamestone Fluted Brown 2 QT CASSEROLE WITH DOME LID 8" Matte IHQ DenmarkThis eBay listing is for a vintage IHQ Flamestone Denmark Dansk (as marked on the bottom) casserole dish with hard to find domed lid that come as you see pictured in the listing and noted above. The pattern is called Flamestone Fluted in a Matte Brown color. The casserole dish measures just over 8" across and is considered 2 quarts. The height is just over 3" tall without the lid and with the lid, it measures 7.75" tall. The overall condition shows to be in very good condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs found. NOTE: the inside has what looks like crazing but I can't feel it so I think it's made that way. The other bakeware pieces in this pattern that I have listed all have this same crazing pattern on the inside. This still has the label on the bottom and on the inside of the lid (worn) that has a date of Apr 25, 1995. Since it still has the label on the bottom - I would have to take a guess and say that it's never been used before!! The other pieces that I have listed have the older logo on the bottom and google notes that pattern was made from the late 1950's to early 1970s' era.I'll have a few other lots in the same pattern listed in my ebay store.
