Description: Notice how my dags are not super bright without any trace of tarnish? That is because they have NOT been bathed in silver cleaner. They are offered here as found, uncleaned, unless stated otherwise. Original 6th plate daguerreotype of a beautiful woman, wearing ribbons in her hair and a brooch, and holding a leather book. It looks like she's seated in front of a painted landscape backdrop with a tree and column. The dag has a light layer of tarnish and tarnish ring. Light specks and tiny mold spiders on the plate, but no damage or dings.Comes in half of its original case, with is in very poor condition (missing a rail) and not shown. A good amount of the original broken seals are still inside of the case, loose behind the dag.Shipping: Boxed Priority Mail.3811
