My impression is that this particular brush is out-of-print and no longer being made by the manufacturer. -Size: 24. Hair: Russian Fitch Black Sable. Shape: Thick / Fat Filbert - 'Fat' meaning extra hair makes it 'thicker' than a standard Filbert, thus giving the brush extra holding capacity. -The brush hairs are: about 1" wide at the ferrule & about 1.25" long from tip to ferrule. LONG maroon-colored polished handle - Measures roughly 13.25" from tip to end. Silver-colored ferrule. -As is said: Russian Fitch / Black Sable hair is stiffer and more substantial than Red Sable.
