Description: A mysterious Art Deco buckle with a classic 1930s feel. The faceted glass is in a sedate orange that flickers like dancing flames as light reflects off the foil backing. The frame has a delicate saw tooth edge enclosing the glass with rolling scalloping and applied metal beads adorning the outer edge. Both sides of the buckle are signed GESGESCH81 and Czechoslovakia 81 on the back. The elastic belt is new and simple, perfect for adding shape to an oversized sweater or adorning a simple black dress. We have two of these, just in case you have a fashion buddy in need of a gift. Measurements: Buckle is 1.95"/49.6mm across when clasped, and each side is 0.98"/24.9mm by 1.32"/33.5mm. The elastic belt is 36.75" long and just under 1" wide. Condition: Needs cleaning. Piece is showing wear in accordance with age. There is some discoloration to the metal and glass. Elastic is new and unworn. Used/Vintage. Always expect some wear on Vintage and Antique pieces in keeping with their age. We will note any specific damage or wear on each item.
