That is the inside middle top when the tent is up as high as it goes. It needs to be at minimum 11ft 1 inch from ground to the very top.Here is a general guideline for our 10 x 10 custom covers and what frame should be used...Most standard peak 10 x 10 straight leg frame will work on our covers. Our 10 x 10 covers fit all the EZ and most of the knockoffs. Those all have a max peak height of anywhere between 11' 1" and 11' 6". That's why we say there will be a little play in the varieties of those EZ style frames. If you are looking to purchase a new tent frame for a custom cover you purchased from us, do not purchase a frame that has a peak height of less than 11' 1" or any slant leg tent for these custom covers. Check our other listings for covers that will fit other frame sizes you may have.The cover will fit tight and snug. That is correct and the way it should be. The 10 x 10 tent frame you will buy will have a plain white, blue, red, or other color stock cover that comes with it. Take that cover off and put on our custom cover. Or if it fits not too tight you may be able to put the custom cover directly over the existing plain cover that comes with the tent but that all depends on the brand you buy. There is a small sizing difference to most of them but the custom cover will fit them correctly if the tent frame peak height is 11' 1" to 11' 6". Hope that helps.
