This is indeed a unique offering of the songs of the much under-rated, underappreciated Jack Johnson, a guy with a very common name but very unique and cool songs. Perhaps he is one of the most overlooked artists by the commercial music industry. Sure 'Bubbletoes,. 'The Horizon Has Been Defeated', 'Sitting, Waiting, Wishing', and 'Upside Down' all made the charts as well as 'Banana Pancakes' from the movie 'Curious George' but this disc goes way beyond those songs and features some great songs from this wonderful artist/songwriter. His songs are very laid back diddies and you can almost imagine yourself at a little venue where he is playing these songs to a quaint little audience.
