Description: We’ve been selling karaoke since 1988. That’s a long time! When I wanted to put my business phone number in the Yellow Pages the “karaoke” category did not even exist. I had to list the business under “Musical Accompaniment”. I’ve seen a lot of changes in these three decades. The formats that we have used to listen to our music has gone from cassette tapes and Laser Discs to Compact Discs w/Graphics, MP3+G and digital downloads. The good news for those that still have a karaoke cd+g player is that we still have thousands of discs still available, many of them are rare and hard-to-find, such as this one. Electric Light Orchestra, often shortened as ELO, started their march onto the music scene in the 1970's and had several hits that we may remember well. I remember driving in the car with my Dad and the only radio station we could get at the time was a Top 40 station so my Dad could not be listening to his country hits as usual. Along comes "Evil Woman'" by ELO on the radio and my Dad asked 'What are they singing? Illegal Woman?"Nope", I said, "It's Ee Ee vil Woman". Undoubtedly you will think of many of your own memories while singing to the many hits of this group led by Jeff Lynne. Maybe it's roller skating to "Don't Bring Me Down" (Does he really say "Bruce?) or "Rock 'n Roll Is King". "Shine A Little Love", "Mr. Blue Sky", "Sweet Talkin' Woman" are all great songs too. The nineteen songs on this disc will make a great addition to your karaoke collection.
