Sampled from the powerful pickups of the 60's stack pot era, the Full Ten outputs a passive yet punchy attack and a solid core sound. The VOL/Tone control range is wide, and if you turn it down, you can create a sound with delicate nuances typical of jazz music. The neck is made by hand, taking nearly four times as long as a typical neck, and is characterized by a comfortable grip that fits deeply in your hand. This is Crews' proud work that only bass players who are confident in their skills should pick up. There are scratches, dents, and signs of use throughout. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The warp of the neck has been adjusted with a rod, and it is almost straight. There is some slight wear on the frets, but there is enough left and there is no problem with playing.
