Description: This auction is for a Cousances Le Creuset No 27 (10" ID) Cast Iron Blue Enamel Double Spout Lid - Lid Only. This blue (Cobalt Blue?) lid went with a Cousances Le Creuset No 27 Deep Skillet that unfortunately had a small crack near the handle. I decided to sell the lid and deep skillet separately...The skillet is shown on the last image but it is not included. The lid is in very good to excellent condition with one very small nick on the lower edge of one tab (See Image 8). Note - "The Cousances foundry began making cast iron pans in 1553. Four centuries later, in 1957, the brand was acquired by Le Creuset Cookware". The Cousances brand continued to be manufactured by Le Creuset into the early 1980s.
