Description: This is the March, 1931 issue of Correct Eating & Strength. I found very few issues of this magazine available online, and most like this one were in fragile condition. The interesting magazine was published by Milo Publishing - their barbells, boxing equipment and books on bodybuilding are advertised in the issue. The articles are about exercise, body building and healthy diets focusing on natural foods. The foods recommended to eat and avoid are with some exceptions very similar to those popular today. There are also articles on well know athletes - Light Horse Harry Wilson, a star football player for Army and Penn State, who also received letters in lacrosse and basketball; and Bob Kiphuth who developed Yale's winning swim team. There's also an article on swinging Indian clubs and lots of self-help ads. The 8 1/2 by 11 1/2 inch magazine has 84 pages. The covers are chipped and apart from the magazine. The pages are browned and fragile with some tears and chips.
