This hot plate stirrer has a temperature range of 25-550°C (5 above amibent-550°C on the digital model) and a speed range of up to 1100 RPM. All Corning stirrers use a belt that spins off a pulley system and is easily replaceable. Temperature setpoints are quickly achieved in a few seconds, and a light indicator illuminates the front to alert the user that the surface is hot.
