Description: This auction is for a Corgi Aviation Archive Hawker Battle of Britain 70th Anniversary Hurricane MkI in 1:72 Scale. These Corgi Aviation Archive models are models of planes that actually fought in WWII. This Hurricane is the plane of Squadron Wing Commander Bob Foster flying from Croydon during 1940. Everybody makes a big deal about the Spitfire in the Battle of Britain, but the fact is that more German planes were shot down by Hurricanes than by Spits. This model is die-cast metal with some plastic parts. It can be displayed with the wheels up or wheels down. It is mint in the original box. The photos of the model out of the box are from the internet for illustration. Ask any questions before bidding. SHIPPING: $13.99 shipping to the lower 48 continental U.S. states in addition to the winning bid (Alaska and Hawaii extra). PAYMENT: Please don't bid if you don't plan to pay. Payment must be received within four days from close of auction. FOREIGN SALES: NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. This includes Canada.
