Description: Facsimile edition of the Confederate Military History set by the Archive Society in 1994. The original was published in 1899 by the Confederate Publishing Company. These books are in beautiful condition. They have minimal shelf wear. They have red cloth covers with gold lettering and seal, gilded page edges and marbled paper on the inside front and back covers. The books are illustrated and some volumes have maps tucked inside the back covers. There is no pocket for these maps, so I don't know whether they came with the books originally or whether they were added in by the original owner of the books. Vol 4 and 9 have some white line marks on the front cover. Vol 1 and 4 have a stamp with previous owner's name/address on one of the first few pages. Vol 3 part 1 has a bend in the spine and a tiny bit more wear to the cover edges than the other volumes. Vol 5 has a tiny bit of fading at the bottom of the spine. See the photos for condition.
