Description: Complete Vintage Mah-Jongg Playing Set in box container of 144 Chinese character tiles Wooden Box measuring 7X10X5 covered in decorated Blue leather with Brass handles and hinges. The brass latch does not stay locked permanently. The box holds four wooden racks of amber color plastic embossed tiles, 144 total. Four more smaller wooden boxes hold two yellow/red dice and 85 bone betting sticks.Each tile is 7/8 inch X 1 2/8 inch and the thickness is approx 2/8 inch. The carved Chinese symbol tiles have not been tested to identify whether they are bakelite or catalin, as they are in excellent condition, smooth, clean and not slippery.
