Colorful 3.75" Diameter, 0.50 Pound Green Apophyllite and Scolecite - Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India Description The specimen measures 3.75 inches across, 2.70 inches up and down, and is 2.10 inches thick, weighs 0.50 pound. Colorful 3.75" diameter light green fluorapophyllite in association with white scolecite. The pictures don't do this specimen justice - the apophyllite has a light green color and some of the scolecite has a "dirty" look to it due to some residual pocket dirt that could be carefully/professionally cleaned. As is typical with nearly all of these pieces, there are some broken/cleaved crystals especially along the edge but overall, this is in much better shape than most. Collected from the Deccan basalts in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. Free shipping in the United States - this piece will ship regular Priority mail only. This particular type of specimen/scolecite is not as fragile as some of its counterparts but will still, of course, be packed with care.
