You can use any type of standard screw suitable for the surface you are installing to. Wood screws are the most common ones used.The three-dimensional design is the same on both sides. You can use either way (long or short side). These shelf brackets have a baked-on powder finish that inhibits rust.Please let us know if this is a gift.
