Description: This is a vintage (1950s or 60s most likely) tin and rubber wind up 'Clever Puppy' toy. It is about 6 inches long. The body is tin but the ears, tail and eyebrows are some sort of rubber. It was made in Japan. The box and toy are marked with both: T.N inside a diamond, which my research indicates is Nomura / Nomura Toy Industrial Co., Ltd. Tokyo, Japan.andIshi in a circle, for Ishizuka / Ishizuka Seisakusho. Japan. I have not tested it, but the toy itself appears to be in excellent condition. The box's lid is rough.
