Description: This is an Early American glass creamer. It is 5 1/2 inches tall at the handle and pour spout, and 3 inches wide. I haven't seen this exact shape of "Loop" creamer in either a book or the EAPG database, but I somehow accidentally bought a second one for my collection, so am giving one of them up. The maker is unknown. AKA "Loop" patterns were made by multiple glass companies. It seems like often the manufacturers called their "Loop" pattern O'Hara, so I included that in the title, and also Seneca Loop because it resembles that version. But since the maker isn't known, the true name is not known, either. I am pretty sure that this cream pitcher is not flint glass. This antique pitcher looks very nice, but is not in perfect condition. There is roughness on the two mold seams going down from the handle attachment to the the tops of the loops beneath them, caused by several tiny chips (1 mm and smaller) on the mold seam on the left side, and one tiny chip (2 mm) on the mold seam on the right side. there is also a tiny scratch (5 mm long) on the top of the foot. No other damage is found, and wear from age seems to be very light. It weighs 13.7 ounces before packing for shipping, so will ship in the 2 pound rate. This will be shipped by either UPS Ground or USPS Ground Advantage rate (except for International). Local delivery is always available for free to a mutually agreed upon meeting place. This cannot be shipped by UPS to a post office box. Please contact me before purchase, if you need to have it shipped to a PO Box. I am happy to answer your questions about this piece.
