It is a collectible and piece of history. CITY OF SALFORD SPECIAL CONSTABLE LAPEL BADGE NUMBERED 404 POST 1926 (APPROX 98 YEARS OLD) Here we have a fantastic and rare City of Salford Special Constable lapel badge, this version was used post 1926 which makes this around 98 years old. It is numbered on the front, most of these Special Constable lapel badges were either not numbered or numbered to the rear. The badge is in great used antique (almost) condition, please see the photos for the enamel, please not that the guide I own which details all the SC lapel badges around the country also has enamel loss on their image if this Salford badge and other variants of it so it was a common thing.
