Description: Interesting selection of ladies gloves ad slicks from December 1947. Used to develop magazine and newspaper advertisements for that era. Nicely done in shades of black and gray on white paper. Paper looks a little more ivory in color now with its 65 years of age. Two of these cuts do have minor folds in paper from where they were stored folded over. Largest art with woman's face is 6 1/2". Smallest is 1 1/2". Selections are individually cut from larger sheets. Just laying on piece of cardboard for photo--not attached to any backer, etc. Rescued from an old collection found at a local auction. Some others I have include "The Stamps-Conhaim Service" at bottom of pages. The Stamps-Conhaim Creative Newspaper Advertising Service, was a syndicated service providing illustrations for newspaper advertisements. I will place cuts in plastic sleeve and add a piece of white foam board to protect during USPS First Class mailing in bubble envelope. I'll mail the same day, or next day after payment is received.
